Default 1.8 to 2.0 swap question

I'm looking to use my 96 Brighton for Stage Rally. The weight class I am shooting for has a maximum naturally aspirated displacement of 2.0l My question is this, can I use the intake and heads off my 96 1.8l on say a EJ205 short block? If not, is there another EJ20 block what it will work on?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I wasn't able to find anything on this exact swap.

Thanks
