Default Question about clutch noise ?

I just had a clutcg put in my 2000 RS and now when I am sitting in one spot with the car running, I hear chirpping. But when i depress the clutch the chirpping stops. What could be the cause of this ?

I've had this happen to me, when I swapped my engine I just put a little grease on it and when it went back together the sound stopped.

Could be the input shaft bushing in the trans. It could be making noise anytime the clutch is engaged, you just can't hear it when the car is moving.
