Are you sure you wired it correctly? Will it start/run with the sensor completely unplugged? Check all fuses. In engine compartment and under dash. Also, search on not starting, there are MANY threads on it. Could yield some good ideas.

ya its wired in correctly, ive checked all fuses and they are all good. ive taken the terminals off the battery and pumped the brake to rest the ecu, and have also tried starting it without the sensor plugged to bypass it but still wont go, it wants to start but just no jam? thanks for the info ill check that out!

Sounds like there is another issue other than that plug

Time to inspect for spark and fuel delivery. I would start with fuel since the problem first started when you asked for more of it. If you know anyone with the same MAF you could try swapping a known good one in to rule it out completely.

when i pulled over i left it running to look under the hood and when i was looking for throttle problems next i checked the intake system and when i move my cold air, my engine started to idle down, put the intake down back on its brackets and it ran fine after that. started checking th wiring on the intake and my engine stalled out!?
