Default Spark plug Helix coil came out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with spark plug

went to change the plugs and on cylinder 1 we took out the plug it was a little tough and we found out why someone had it bored out n put a helix coil in i guess because they stripped it (i guess owner before) and instead of impacting it in they put some aproxy on and jerry rigged it

this is a pic of what it looked like

I know you're holding it close to show detail, but focus man, focus. Also, preview your photos. I see zero detail on the plug. I do, however, see some great detail on your bike.

Hell yeah, get warranty work done.

Get a new Heli-coil kit (about $30) and some JB weld or high temp permanent threadlocker and utilize the kit as per its instructions.

If the kit was used properly to begin with, it would have been hit hard and flared on the upper end to reduce the chances of coming out. Even if that's done, they still sometimes come out. If all else fails...new heads :/

^^ yea well see from what i see and the others that were at the install day they all said it looked like they screwed the sparkplug in and then just forced the helix coil in with some apoxy (real crappy) so yeah so with the whole head already bigger than original im gonna tell the dealer i want a new head installed because i dont know if any metal shavings may have gotten in the engine or not

Dealer installing heads will cost you about $800 in labor if not more. Sorry to hear that.
