ugh...

that nose is hideous.

the illumination strip that goes around the top of the headlights looks like eyelashes.

From a guy who still misses his 08 s (aside from all of the mechanical problems), they ruined it.

That's pretty bad. The euro-spec hood didn't do the Mini any favors, but surely the design team could have minimized the damage by using a different grill/bumper and headlights.

Glad I ordered a 2013" model, not that I had the luxury of waiting another 6 months.

I guess it's the Euro pedestrian safety thing that's making the cars to have funny nose these days, but this one looks pretty bad. I always liked the very short front overhang of the MINI, now it looks like a normal FWD car.

sorry large front overhang not found...

Perspective, look it up

sorry Len, I respect what you post mostly, but the front overhang obsession is one of my peeves. That and when people say RPM's

No, Scrappy.. that nose is a few inches further forward than the current MCS.

They've angled the headlights back (more modern Porsche-like) at a steeper angle to attempt to hide the extra length, but it's there.

The EVO X-like bumper through the grille looks terrible, IMO. Hopefully there will be other headlight options. Also, it looks like the roof slopes backwards..

The sloping roof is very Evoque'esque
But I still do not see a large front overhang on the mini guys. An inch of protrusion I am not sure I would be albe to tell from these pictures.

Edit: it's the combination of the headlight (the white and black surroundings) and the grill that kills it. It looks too wide-eyed surprised (I think someone mentioned scared ****-less look).

Tilt those headlights any farther back and they will have to become modern Porsche-like, and not in a good way.

It looks like it's saying "Bleeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhhh"

On that note, my 11 MCS looked way gooder.
