to stock is a project too

Yes, the front calipers will bolt right up. You will need adapter brackets in the rear to keep your same rear setup. You will need 04 STi rotors that are 5x100 bolt pattern or re-drill the 06-07 to 5x100.

if i have access to sti parts, and i plan on swapping in a sti suspension, i should be good with the 06-07 stuff, but for the time being i might redrill it.

I am not even sure you can swap the STi rear subframe but I could be wrong as I am a bit out of touch on that. The BE/BH rear suspension is not the same as the wrx or the BD/BG which could swap over no problems.

I know the rear STi suspension will not work unless you can swap the entire subframe. Hence why the adapter brackets may be cheaper/easier.

I know he swapped an entire wrx motor over, did you have a specific post/page that he references the entire subframe being swapped? It's been a while since I read through there. If he did it then obviously its possible.

was thinking the same thing, i tried a few times to read through but was distracted by several of the posts and started to research other info. my buddy who is a mechanic who knows a **** ton about subarus says that i can't swap the rear, subframe so i was wrong, but i will research what the difference is that causes this to not be a option.
