Thanks for the pic of the p18. Could you take another few please, maybe of the side, top down view, casting code etc. I am trying to work out if it's the journal bearing version or the ball bearing version.

Thanks

ok thanks. Just for clarification if it is from a VF34 it will not fit the VF43 as they use different bearings setups apparently. The VF34 is ball bearing and the 43 etc are thrust? I could however be wrong!

I think they are all the same fitment thoe with interchangable housings. I put a p20 exhaust housing off a thrust bearing vf on my vf34 and it worked perfect.

Ok fair enough if you managed that, but the generally speaking the ball bearing housings are quite shallow where it meets the bearing cylinder, and so it can't be sealed. Where the thrust and journal bearing housings are quite deep.

A picture from the top or side would determine it though as it can be seen quite easily. If this is one that is deep enough I would take it off your hands, hence wanting the picture.

I am so sorry to be a pain, but could you get a top down view similar to this one for me please?

For anyone wondering this pic is of a (left) VF35 P15 exhaust housing vs (right) some unknown source P18 exhaust housing:

Thanks for those, unfortunately, as I though, it's too shallow and wouldn't fit my turbo.

I very much appreciate you taking the time to get the photos, thanks!
