I knew it rained but I am at work and didn't realize it was that bad. I am going to go out and look now. Your insurance company should be able to recommend someone good if you don't get any responses. I have not had much experiance with body damage but Heuberger recomended Fogg auto body or something like that.

Blossers is the best shop in town probably, if you can wait. They tend to take a while. Fat boys does AWESOME work, but are typically booked a year in advance and don't really specialize in that kind of stuff. Don't take it to Black and White or wreckmasters. Try to find a good smaller shop. Go to the car show at grocery warehouse on powers and constitution on a saturday evening. Ask those guys. The old car guys always know the best body shops. Oh and Backstreet Kustoms is good too.

DAM!T that sucks man I HATE hail and even hearing about someones car getting it. Just curious though dont you garage your car or not? I went to a dentless repair shop up in southern Denver to get a 3" dent out of the side of my car and it turned out "ok" about 90% removed. They say they do a lot of hail damamge stuff... somthing like Dent doctor... just call them in the phone book and they will refer you to the right location.

Like Drac said though goto the auto show at grocery wharehouse and ask around I am sure some of those guys know some good body shops.

Hey man I feel your pain! I work near Suby Sports and my car got beat to hell. I bet the damage is at least 2 grand. Hood is beat to hell and many smaller dents on the beltline at the top of the doors. I don't think the hood is salvagable. I just makes me sick to look at it. I too will be looking for a good body shop. I have used the Dent Wizard to remove occassional small dents and they have been great. I would imagine many dents would be expensive though going the paintless route. I will just have to see what my insurance company says. Santa Fe used to be a great body shop but I'm not sure what their reputation is these days.

i too work near suby sports, must have been a heavy belt of hail through there. i was at work, and our warehouse was full, so it had to stay outside and weather the storm.

when i called my insurance they said they had been recieving calls all night from this storm, and of course the fire too. i have american family ins.

Punkswrx where do you work in that area? i work on mallow road, which is amout 1 mile from suby sports.

I work at the CSU Birdsall power plant on Nichols Blvd just two blocks west of Suby Sports. When I called my insurance company (American National) and told them I needed to make a hail claim they immediately asked if I lived in Colorado Springs. I have a feeling the body shops around here are gonna be busy for awhile.

I was luckily at work up North and just rained up here. Sorry to here about everyone's, that sucks. Often it is better to wait for a little while after a big hail storm before getting it fixed. Companies get so overloaded with repairs the work quality suffers some.

I used to do they dry ice stuff on my car when I lived in TX. I'd be happy to help anyone out with it that wants to give it a shot. It'll take a while. You want to hold the chunk on each dent for like 5-10 minutes on a hot day.

Angry Got hailed on too

As HOMER would say. "Those are Speed holes."

If nothing else this is an excuse to get a lightweight hood.

Well I got my estimate today - $3,722!!!! Yikes! Went to a body shop called Majestic Paint & Body on Platte and Murray. If anyone has any feedback regarding their work I'd sure appreciate it. I'm going to check with the Better Business Bureau (they are a member). They were on my insurance company's prefferred list along with:

Cars Collision Center
Fogg's Auto

My WRX looks awful
