Adrenalin Rush Prediction Challege - Pending Results -

It is time for the Adrenalin Rush 2.7L WRX to roll onto the dyno and roll off with some numbers.

In lieu of this, we are going to offer up a gift box full of some nice automotive goodies (value of over $300, see pic below) to the member with the closest prediction. Just post your best guess for a chance to win! There will be only one guess per member. The dyno results will be on video and the dyno sheet will be posted once in hand. If you need to phone a friend, then do so but your guess has to be posted by Saturday, July 10th, 1pm.

Are you talking about a finalized tune? Is it going to be on pump gas, or race gas, or E85? How much boost will you run?

This will be the finalized tune. It will run E85 and 30psi of boost. It will be on a Mustang dyno. Elevation is 976ft. Temp will be about 86 degrees. Results will be WHP (wheel horsepower)

We were are trying to get a them all in one central location so that no ones prediction gets left out. It is worth the chance to win over $300 is prizes.

I predict because its rons tune ( more of a conservative tuner) and at rs which reads crazy low a power of 650whp hoping for high 700s even 800 but am playing it safe. cant wait to see it all work out for ya bud! pumped for this!

After looking at your mod list, your weak link is your clutch. I doubt it will hold if it is indeed the lowest ACT clutch, since you list no part number I can't tell for sure though. You might want to put your eye on that though.

That would be correct. When this build started I was unsure where it would lead. I figured that by the time the power was at this level I would have used the life of this ACT and be ready for a twin or triple disc. The transformation happened quickly and I have not been in to replace the practically new clutch that is in it. Now I figured " lets dyno this thing and see what will hold and what will not." If anything, the weak clutch will save me from breaking any other drive train components at the current time. We have the clutch along with axles on the list of items to be replaced next but we would like to know what kind of power we are playing with.

We have had a number of different clutches in this car including a triple puck and it was down right a pain to drive so we are looking for something that will hold the power and offer great driving characteristics. Any input from an owner of serious machine would be much appreciated.
