When I run PCLink the map only goes from 0kPa-110kPa. What happens when I go into boost? How do I tune those maps?
thanx, -Chav

k, fixed, but I have another question.
Now that I have the link installed I drove around the block on the base map and I am getting very very bad pinging at light throttle and everywhere from 1500rpm up to 3500rpm (i didnt go beyond that). The knock on the link doesnt go above 6 or 7 though. Can you tell me where the stock knock sensor is so i can tap it and see if it is working? Could this pinging i'm hearing just be a very very rich condition (O2 reads 88-90) and just be the gas burnning on its way out of the exhaust chamber? Last question is when I ease into the throttle the car stumbles for a sec then finally goes is this cause of the crappy vac line i have? -Chav |

Stock fuel system. Master fuel is at 130. Do you think it was pinging then? I didnt think it would be so easy to get predet at part throttle at like 2500rpms and medium load.

ok, i'll try that. I'm very very paranoid about this whole pinging thing.
I gotta tone it down to the healthy paranoid level. btw I have the rear O2 in the stock location (behind the cats) and it was still reading 94 at idle and 88 under cruze. I'm guessing this is really rich. -Chav |

move that o2 up behind the turbo (on the down pipe). you 'll get better readings. then get back to us.

Ok I put it down to 110 and the car's idle fell to 800rpm and the O2 read 0. Way to lean even at idle. So I went up to 170 on the master fuel and went for a ride and the "pinging" or whatever it is was less pronounced. The car doesnt have the turbo on yet. This is a stock engine with an intake and exhaust and I cant get this "pinging" or whatever it is to go away. With the master fuel at 170 the car runs a lot better. I did some data logging and the knock sensor only went above 15 once. To test the knock sensor I started data logging with the engine off, key on and went and tapped the sensor and engine block around it. The knock only went up to 11 is this normal? thanx
