I know with the Miata the weight difference s pretty fair and does add a fair bit to the front...not sure of numbers though but I think in the vicinity of an additional 150lbs or so (includes necessary fitment and reinforcement bits.)

yup.
The aluminum LS motors aren't very heavy. Plus they're compact too, fitting perfectly in many import bodies.

But when it comes down to it, this is where it's at. When I fall out of love with my STi, this will be it's replacement.

Spotted in Whistler this morning.

I'm with you Steve, I think as the best all around car it's very difficult to beat for the price (or even if it was another 30-50K).

Is it was another 30K, it would be one of these:

And it would have 800-900 hp.

I'd even love to get my hands on an early GT-R, but with an LHD conversion. I saw one in Dubai, but that was it. And the cost was really high too.

HP is nice, but is it reliable?
Or are you picking up broken parts weekly, like a high power Subaru?

Lieberman drove the P800, said it had good driveability. 900 might be a bit much but 7-800 is fine. Car makes over 500 stock anyways, then just wider gears in the tranny, etc.

Two dope shizz (but I have no pics unfortunately) at the dealership: 91 NSX, 58K kms, Advans like Jasons w/ AD08s and a very subtle carbon-fibre wing (maybe 2 inches higher than the stock one). Gorgeous car.

Also, older guy pulled in with his new white Camaro SS. Same dude has the big-block '69 in white. Cool.

We have lots of GT-R drivers in Richmond rocking the 'N' sign...

I would totally consider getting an SX-4 as a DD I love how it looked when they were in the WRC with the widebody kit.

Ford needs to release a widebodied AWD Fiesta.

Out of curiosity, what kind of dollars are we talking about with this car?

I do not understand their ways in Richmond.
Do they want dead kids?

He picked it up for $35K.

Honestly, if I had garage space and $$, I would totally rock an NSX. They're right at the bottom of their depreciation curve, and prices are only going to go up, if it's a nice one, and this one was.

Ah yes, the flat black sticker Gallardo.
You have to be a kid with family bucks to be that ostentatious. No working man would ever pull that kind of isht.

Wow, what an awesome story. I'm with you 100% on the NSX. It's such a timeless car, and to this day can compete with many of the big boys with minor mods.

Keeping this on track, let's toast the NSX in all her aluminum and titanium glory.

holy **** tora, I've never seen half of those cars you posted.
Dope shiz indeed!

That Jiotto looks nuts too. I thought it started life as an NSX, but it looks to be built from the ground up. Wild!

I'll post some more dope shiz when I get to work later.
