Default Trany vs HP

I read the thred on the torque vs trany but i can't find the max HP and torque a stock 2.5 RS-t trany can take on a drag track.

Plaese help me???

I'd say 7psi is about the max I've seen that the tranny is able to handle

270ish ft/lbs of torque I do believe maybe that number is a little off but then I'm sure it would depend on your Clutch too... use a clutch with a softer engagement maybe that would help out our tranny problems.

its all about how you drive. i know people who ran 12 psi multiple times at the track.

If you have around 270 ft-lbs of torque on a stock tranny don't dump the clutch at 3000+rpm.

It's a matter of how you drive, not how much power is there. If you shock the trans all the time, it will break. If you drive easy, it will stay together.

I broke mine on 2psi of boost. KC_TopDog broke his NA. I knew a guy who had a stuck wastegate and didn't realize it, and ran 14psi and didn't break his.

Yea I had my car at 12psi once, didn't break Just take it easy when driving!
