Default 3 slipped teeth = valve damage?

I'm currently replacing my timing belt after some slippage. I believe that it skipped 2-3 teeth.

Should I be worried about belt valves?

Edit: Some more info would be useful. It's a '99 SOHC EJ22.

In my experience it will probably be fine if it's only 2-3 teeth off. I've had a lot like that and none bent valves.

I highly doubt there bent but it depends which way it slipped. I had a 4g63 that skipped 8 teeth and didnt bend and those are the most nitorouis for valve damage that was the first time I had seen a 4g63 slip without valve damage but I think your ok. Good luck

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I've seen a couple bent valves from skipping one tooth. Then again I've seen two teeth with no damage. Generally for me at work (subaru dealer) if a car is off two teeth expect bent valves. But I have seen some lucky people. And comparing other cars and how many teeth they had timing belts skip is pretty retarded. We're talking about a subaru engine. They run **** really tight.
