B-17 flying around today?

Did anyone else see the old B-17 bomber (i think it was one anyways) flying around today? I saw it while in Peabody driving south. It was following 128 west, roughly 11:15 or so I think. Then I saw it again later in the day inbetween 495 and 128 in the route 3 area flying around. Was there an airshow or something I missed? Was kind of neat seeing it, I can't imagine seeing 100s of those flying over me like they did in WWII

There's one that's at an airport in Lawrence from time to time. I've seen it flying around on occasion. If you're into that kind of stuff usually in the fall they have the 'Wings of Freedom' tour in Beverly where you can take a tour inside the plane and whatnot.

Its the Colling's foundation bomber. They are based out of Stow, MA and are all volunteers that keep classic military planes flying. You can actually go for rides in them for a few hundred bucks. They travel from airport to airport most of the summer, and I know they will be down at Plymouth in either the end of August or in September for a long weekend. Awesome group of enthusiasts. I watch them come in and land every year at Plymouth, and the brought a P51 mustang last year that did a flyby past all the people watching at about 100 ft.
