Default Cylinder 3 misfire after injector install

Yesterday I had my tuner drop in 1000cc modded injectors into my car and also do a tune.

Today my car threw a cylinder 3 misfire code at me, at idle the motor shakes a little more than usual but on acceleration and boost I am hitting all of my numbers. When I clear the code the car starts and runs like it should, I cleared it earlier today and it came back right when I was in reverse feathering my clutch to turn around.

Either way I am visiting my tuner tomorrow after work but just wanted to get some opinions and thought before I walk into my tuners shop. My searching gave me some headway, could be a bad coilpack or a fouled plug? bad injector? To rich of a tune?

Edit: Mod list
HTA68
txs fmic
denzo pump
1000cc injectors
cobb short ram
gimmick inlet
catless exhaust
dyno tune done by PRE

One of my cylinders was misfiring awhile ago, and my engine and drivetrain is completely stock.

I just switched the coilpack from the misfiring cylinder with a coilpack from a different cylinder, and everything now runs great. I haven't had a misfire since.

I would do this and remember what cylinder coilpack you switched #3 with. Switch the #3 coilpack with the #1 coilpack (the cylinder in front of #4), and see how everything goes. If you #1 gets a misfire, you know it's the coilpack.

also check the wires going into the injector, when i swapped out mine my number 1 cylinder was misfiring, and it was the positive wire going into the injector

Im glad I found this thread, I recently had my car tuned where my tuner modified my stock injectors to 850cc, and now I am having the same problem as you are. I was told by my tuner to change the plugs........... I did and gapped them as he said .022, still same issue. I called him back he said switch coilpacks and I did, still same issue. Each time after resetting the code it would come back on during idle. I have the same issue that you are having the car shake and shutters at idle, good numbers during boost although once check engine light is on and I hit boost the car feels as if there is a vacuum leak or boost leak by shuttering/hestitating slightly. I hope that all it is, is what Enlishguy is talking about, but I have a feeling that its the injector because there is a faint smell of gas during idle and from what a mechanic friend has told me.

I am subscibing to this thread to findout how it goes for you.
