Default My poor bumper!

I drove my 05 STI to Manning park on the weekend and must have got the exhaust temps up cuz my bumper has some bubbling and cracking around the exhaust tip (thanks for the heads up brent lol). It'd be pointless to repaint the bumper just to have it happen again so I guess I'm going to have to go against every fibre of my anti-ricer being and put carbon fibre on my car . I've found some online (Varis, Carbign, etc.) but I'm worried about fitment. I'd be pretty chapped if my $150 ricer shield didn't fit totally perfect. Does anyone on here have one that I could have a look at, I'll buy you coffee and are there any places locally that would sell them?

Thanks!!

Mike

I'd rather not have the exhaust hang any lower and with how far up the damage is the hangers would have to be really long to keep it from happening again. The other thought is that the heat shield would cover the damage...that's part of why I'd like to see one in person to see if it'll cover the burns/cracks.

you might want to try heat reflective tape. It has worked really well for me and costs around $20
