Have a Nice Day? But what about me?

I wish I could say the same. He said he could ship out some STi control arms "ASAP", which I thought meant As Soon As Possible. I paid on the 13th, then get a response on the 15th saying he would go to the post office the next day, so at best they were shipped out on the 16th via USPS. Now, assuming that they were shipped out, we are talking 12 days to make it from Hawaii to California, which I rather long considering the distance. I understand that you are in the process of moving, but saying that you can send something ASAP gives me the expectation that they in fact would be.

I last heard from you on the 21st, so 7 days ago. I feel that I have been very patient, but like I said in my last pm, I'm giving it until Friday then I'll open up the Paypal claim.

Just in case you didn't get my last pm for some reason:

Hi, were they shipped from Texas or Hawaii, and via what service? I'll give it until the end of the week before opening a claim. Depending on when and how they were sent out, they should have gotten here by now.

Again, I hope I'm wrong and they show up in the next few days, but the longer I sit here with no response from you, the more I'm .

I'd really like a response.

Thanks!

Ok. I understand your beef with this. I agree, I have not been as communicative as I would like, which I apologized for. But, which you stated, I am in the process of moving. Which, from Hawaii, is a lot different than just moving from city/state in the mainland. I don't know if you have ever shipped anything to/from Hawaii before, but the distance means nothing. It's the fact that it's overseas that contributes to the extra time/price.
Yes, haberkorn got his item right away. That's the difference between a tiny box shipped out priority flat rate, and your box shipped out parcel post. I did state I was going to ship them out on the 16th, however, being a Saturday, I did not make it in time. That was also the day I left Hawaii. My brother personally shipped it the next Monday, the 18th. So, in fact it has not ben 12 days. But considering it took 3 weeks for me to receive these from California as well, I take this to be well on track. Again I apologized for not provided a tracking number, or date of arrival, since I did not have either. As far as making a claim with paypal, I think with a little patience, it doesn't have to come to that. I just don't feel refunding your money while the package is still in transit is an option for this. I understand this feels like a bad transaction, but I feel equally as bad. I have had nothing but positive feedback on here, IWSTI, eBay, etc.
Again I apologize for all the confusuions.

Okay, all of this information would have been nice to have in some way or form.

The 16th was a Friday

Monday was the 19th

I have no way of knowing that they got shipped, as your brother did not get a tracking number.

If it was going to take a month to get here, I wish you would have let me know, so I could pay extra to have it shipped by air and not boat, raft, turtle, ect.

Paypal gives me 45 days from the payment to open a claim, which will be August 26. Even if you waited until the 18th, 19th, or whenever you thought Monday was I hope they show up before then.

You did state that you did not get a tracking number, but kind of left out the part that you did not ship it and your brother hypothetically did.

This is starting to smell real bad, and I just noticed that you bought parts that came installed on your car.

When I sell anything I always get a tracking number and provide it to the buyer so they know that I shipped it and when it should arrive. I also let the buyer know if shipping is going to take close to a month and that maybe a faster shipping service might be better at their expense.

I'm trying to be fair about this, but you left a whole lot out of the responses you gave me, which resulted in your described confusion.

But, yes, why did you go a and buy parts that are already on your car? I'm not insinuating anything, just curious.

(Once these things arrive it won't matter)

Thanks!

-Peter

I doubt your going to get them as you can see he hasnt been here to defend himself from the accusations. Start the claim now, the sooner you do, the sooner you get your money. It takes about a month anyway so enjoy.

Thanks for not reading the thread, your brilliant suggestions are enlightening. When you get robbed, take a moment and see how good willed you are. Yes, leave the poor robber alone, he deserves his anonymity and my money.

Control Arms OK now I feel like a jackass. I just got off the phone with my brother, and your box was sent back our house. He got the address all screwed up. I am very, very sorry about all this. The fault is all on our end. It has now ended up on my father, since my brother can't get a simple address right. Now, I can resend it with a faster service and tracking number and I'll also paypal you $50 for the trouble. Or I will just refund you the $200 and forget the whole thing. I feel terrible about the whole situation. Especially since we had so many conversations about it. Anyway, let me know what you want me to do.
Thanks.

Re: Control arms Sorry about that. I just moved from Hawaii and it's a big scramble for everything. These were sent out, but I'm sorry I didn't get a tracking number. But they were shipped out. They should be arriving shortly.
Thanks, and sorry for the trouble.
