Default High End Quad Core Computer In Wooden Disguised Case. Must See!

Built this computer for a high school project and it originally cost me over $2000 to build this computer. I am selling because I need a Macbook Pro for college so I have no need for a Windows PC anymore.. Everything Works Perfectly, as it is practically a brand new computer. As of right now it is running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit but I will format the computer before I sell. I graduated high school with a degree in Information Technologies and work for a PC Repair shop in orleans so I am very knowledgeable about computers so feel free to ask any questions and I will be happy to also help out with this computer if need be in future. I used this computer for video editing, photoshop, watching High Definiton movies and watching TV via the TV tuner card and Windows Media Center

Keep it, not worth taking that loss, always nice to have an extra computer. :-) Just ask me, I have 3 desktops (1 is actually my fiancÚs...), a personal laptop, and a work laptop.

I would argue against not needed a PC at all but since you can dual-boot the Mac I guess you could argue that.... Please do tell, what are you going to college for that requires you have a Macbook? Can get two nice laptops for the price of one Macbook, might even be able to get a nice netbook too.

Multimedia, Web, And Graphic Design - Associates
Digital Recording Arts - Bachelors

Both course are pretty much strictly Macs and the associates program I will be in a Mac lab on iMacs for the whole course, I technically COULD use a PC but like you said any little thing I need to do on a PC can be done virtually on the Macbook Pro..

If you get a chance to work with Microsoft's Expression suite, DO IT! I know multiple companies right now looking for graphic designers with Expression Blend experience/expertise and nobody out there has it.

I see a lot of designers that run strictly Macs and the Adobe suite and they're missing out on some good work. Blend is a heavy hitter, allows designers to do their thing but it actually produces working code files that code monkeys like myself can work on simultaneously.

MS Expression is not Mac-compatible though.

All this coming from a Microsoft guy. :-) I've only used Blend and Design a little, Design is quite intuitive, and is comparable in functionality to Photoshop. Blend is unique in it's own sense as it is a design tool specifically for WPF and Silverlight applications. Encoder is pretty nice for video manipulation, I haven't used it but did watch a brief tutorial on it.

Any chance you'd want to sell the monitor separate?

It is a pretty cool PC man. Good luck with the sale, but I would just keep it too. Hook it up to your TV or something.
