Like it says what is the redline on a stock Ver3 STi?
Also What Shall I call the beast?

8000rpm IIRC and you got 4 pots with your STi 3 from the factory only if you had a Type R or RA. They were available/optional on the "standard" STi 3 though .

I've heard 7250 and 8250 rpm for the STI versions. The RS-T the stock internals, the same, 6250. If it's STI, definitely neame it STI!

Neal it is very easy ( too easy actually) Just take a 14mm wrench and remove the lower bolt for the caliper. Remove the caliper and zip tye to strut to hold it out of the way. ( so it dont fall on yoour head) Next remove the two 17mm bolts on the back of the caliper holder ( may require an impact) Slide the pads out. Remove rust from seating surfaces of caliper holder replace pads with new hardware Resurface rotors and put it all back together. That was only a little off topic. Oh yeah today we had three 02 Rs Autos in silver in the shop in a row.
