use some sort of backing plate... You may be able to get away without it, but i'd do it right the first time.

This is why I have two Dzus fasteners under the hood. So, you have to open the hood and release two more.

I like the silverish latching ones... do you think this would fix my damn sagging bumper... I guess running a v-limited for 4 years is taking a toll on the bumper.. it's sagging :-(

Driver side:

Passenger side isn't NEARLY as bad...

But still seems like something isn't clipped or held in...

I have the saggy bumper thing going on as well. I hope this can remedy that at the same time.

Rather then create a new thread since this one is very informative and certainly answered my questions. I found these: http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pro....asp?RecID=779 Which I plan to pick up to solve my very bad bumper sag. Since my bumper houses two large JDM foglights they are causing it to hang about .6" from the fender.

Anyone use adjustable ones before? I am torn since I don't exactly see myself adjusting it ever but, might make it easier if I mess putting it on wrong and can adjust the difference. I plan to get them powdercoated to blend in with the car some.

I fixed my bumper sag 100%, I installed an extra bolt/screw/nut/washers on the inside of the fender/bumper...lol

I ordered new clips and got the quick release latches but didn't think they were going to fix the problem with where teh sagging was..lol

I will post pictures but now there is no gap in my bumper... I didn't think that having jdm fogs for so long and v-limited would cause so much sag..lol
