Default OT: Gyrosopic OnBoard Camera (motogp)

Check out the new technology.

Not sure if anyone watches MotoGP but it's amazing all the new camera angles they come up with.

Amazing also how Rossi (the rider in the video) had a clean break his leg both the tibia and fibia 5 weeks ago is back racing already and competitively... currently running 3rd in FP. Enjoy!

I saw the practice! He was saying this is an easy course because its mostly left turns so its a good ease into racing after the crash

He pulls in from his lap and as he is hopping off the bike they hand him a cane! now thats dedication. The guy is amazing on 2 wheels.

i once saw a photo of Rossi exiting a corner, he had run wide and was onto the grass, the rear tire kicking up dirt, still in a bit of lean, and the front wheel off the ground. the caption read "Rossi at 10 Tenths."

cool camera too.

That really puts into perspective the amount of lean those guys are able to achieve.

That takes guts, but you gotta check out Michael Doohan when he busted his legs up in the early 90's. He was still bleeding and couldn't really stand up yet he still raced.

you'd have to. a motorized gyroscopically balanced mount. you "could" theoretically make a pivot and put some kind of weight at the bottom of the camera to keep it upright but it would jusy swing around uncontrollably. i wonder how they get it to work properly with all the cornering g-force and whatnot.
