Default SOLD 2004 WRX 5speed Andrewtech Mfactory/Kaaz transmission

SOLD

Up for sale is my late 2004 WRX 5speed Andrewtech Mfactory/Kaaz transmission.

I am selling it because I decided to go with a 07 STI 6speed.

The Trans was built by Andrew at Andrewtech automotive. He built the gearbox for me when I decided to upgrade from the stock gearset to the Kaaz gearset. I had a lot of issues with the 1-2 Kaaz gearset and it was almost impossible to get replacement parts from Kaaz. So Mfactory came to the rescue and Andrew was able to replace my 1-2 gearset with the Mfactory gears.

The transmission has the Mfactory 1-2 & Kaaz 3-4-5. The 1-2 are semi helical 3 is strait cut and 4-5 are helical. The Mfactory gearset is brand new and the Kaaz 3-4-5 have about 3 to 4,000 miles on them.
The gear ratios are:
  • 3.270 Mfactory
  • 2.286 Mfactory
  • 1.667 - Kaaz
  • 1.250 - Kaaz
  • 0.964 - Kaaz

The gearbox is freshly built and is sitting at Andrewtech automotive at the moment. It is in great condition. Its from my late 04 WRX so its a female style transmission. But for you 02-early 04 female axle subys, Andrew is willing to exchange axles with you that way this will be a direct replacement for you.

Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping costs. and buyers with stubbed transmissions you are responsible for the shipping of your female axles to Andrewtech so they can ship you male axles for direct fitment.

Asking $3,000

Cash in hand or paypal only
Paypal account: Zo08@hotmail.com

Pm me,email me or call Andrewtech and ask for Andrew with any questions

Morning Bump.

Great gearbox for you rally racers and mountain road drivers.

This gearbox has more linear power-band range due to the close gear ratio's. It puts you in the powerband in every gear.

what is your concern with having strait cut?

well 1-2 are semi helical , only 3rd gear is strait cut.

The Kaaz strait cuts arnt as loud as you think they are.
My Perrin exhaust drowned out the sound.

It sounds like you have a supercharger in the car.

quick question before i commit to buying I'm currently doing a 2.5l build at IAG and really do not want to go 6spd. I started putting so much money into my motor I forgot all I had was a 5spd. I am going to run a gt52 on my setup will this tranny hold up I really don't want to go the 6spd route cause of the money I already put out. shoot me a pm if you get a chance i'm overseas but i have someone to pick up the tranny if I go through with the buy. Just worried if the tranny will hold up to the power
