Default anybody have a spare 5x114 disc brake

i want to redrill my 5x100 hubs out to a 5x114.3 so i can have a better selection of wheels. (yes, it'll be worth it cause 5x100 wheels and offsets suck)

wondering if anyone has at least one 5x114.3 disc brake just sitting around that i could borrow to see if this is going to work.

i believe to do a regular 5x114.3 conversion you have to swap everything out right? like tranny and all.

i wonder if i could make a hybrid axle. like if they are the same inside the knuckle and you could just use two different ends making a conversion axle.

hmmm. does anyone have an extra axle for 5x114.3. haha.

I just did the conversion and i changed everything. You can get axles made or i think they have axle stubs to change them from the female to a male axle. Even with just that you will need to change brakes and suspension so it's still not cheap. I do have a few rotors laying around if you want one.

The Subaru svx came with 5x114.3 iirc. You could raid a junkyard and see if you can get those parts to fit on your car. I'm not sure if they will fit, but it's worth a shot right?

He did the full 6spd drive train swap.

Also, you cant drill the wrx hubs for 5x114. There isnt enought room, the studs will be on edge.

Yeah, i wouldn't do it just for the wheel selection. I only did it because i had everything and wanted the 6-speed so it was a bonus to get the 5x114 with better bearings and rear Brembos. although 5x114 BBS's are real cheap, I've bought two sets for under $350.

nice. i wouldnt mind doing all the shocks springs struts deal as long as the axles can be halved and used.
