Default EZ30RTT question/theory...

Alright, I am going to be getting out of the Military soon and I am wanting to add a bugeye to my stable (already have 04 WRX and 06 STI) when I get out.

This one however is going to be the bastard race car of the bunch. The plan is custom wide body/fender flares with an EZ30TT. Now I've done the research, I know the internals suck and Ill probably have to get some custom pistons milled/sleeve the block/and so on and so on.

I will be doing all the head work/fabrication work. Custom headers, exhaust, intake plenumS, EWG setups. Ill be doing it all.

The car will be running dual intake/throttle bodies, dual baby front mount intercoolers, it will most likely be a bottom turbo setup, but I think Ill be able to get away with an upper mounted turbo setup... who knows?

But my real question here, well theory maybe. When I build my exhaust manifolds, I was thinking of an X-pipe under the oil pan so the exhaust manifolds would be linked together before the exhaust gasses went their separate ways to each turbo. My thought here is that there would be higher exhaust manifold pressures which would in theory spool the turbos sooner. I would probably be running something like PnP TD04s or or something along those lines. Probably around 18psi.

But anyway, this is just a theory. X-pipe... good idea... or DIAF ?

You won't see any higher pressure doing this. You're doubling the pressure yea, but you're also doubling the volume, so nothing changes.

Keep them separate to take advantage of the spaced pulsing.

Thats what I was thinking... but it just sounded pretty cool and I was looking for a second opinion. Thanks bro.
