Cool Weapon R Intake *SOLD*

INTAKE HAS BEEN SOLD

FS: Weapon R Intake off my 1999 Subaru Legacy 2.2

I got this awhile ago and used it for a few months before pulling it when I was doing some engine work. I have a K&N Cone Filter instead of the lame sponge it came with. Comes with everything you need to put it in your Legacy or other subaru's it is compatible with.

$50 and you can PM me zip code for shipping cost. If you are local to Washington State we can arrange direct delivery if you prefer...I always love a good drive

Any Takers?

Post Shipping costs

Shipping is ~$15 for UPS Ground across the board for the two interested parties... it is coming from 98034

Weight Just me holding package on the scale is 7lbs dimensions 26x8

Note the plastic tube that connects the cone filter will need to be swapped... a trip the the hardware store and some paint will jimmy up a decent adapter for the crafty.

I will be giving you the K&N Cone filter and the sponge one it came with (it sucks but if you want to give it a go it is yours)

Weapon-R Dragon is what it is called...

I just want this thing out of my closet ... first offer in gets it

yes it is

---------

And by I meant first offer in at my asking price so if you are intending to try and get it for less please do not waste my time.. this is already a steal compared to what I paid to get this ... factor a rough estimate of $20 shipping at most... and no the asking price does not include shipping...sheesh....

i'm sure it'll sit in your closet for the rest of your life...haha i mean, yea they are $200 new and the new filter is probably $30 but it's a piece of bent tube that can be bought off ebay for $40 and a brand new filter. so for the same price you can have a brand new set-up without the "brand" name. not being a dick but just trying to help you get it out of your closet

Cant that be said about every car part? People pay more for certain parts for the brand name. You can buy a set of Rotas for 1/3 the price of the expensive original wheel they copied. Do people buy Rotas? Yes. Do people buy much more expensive wheel sets? Yes. How is anything you said not being a dick and helping him get it out of his closet?

...Answer to that is Zero...

I do have expressed interest problem is so far there seems to be a disconnect on shipping not being included in the asking price... and when that in most cases so far is $15 - $20 via UPS yeah... not much worth effort to drive to my nearest shipping outlet to send it...

Kcwiro - Is this Weapon-R Dragon intake still for sale ?

I reside in Zip code area 01760.

Are there any significant "performance" claims for the intake ?

My understanding is that it mostly just helps to give a deeper sound and possibly increases performance somewhat at the higher end 5000+ RPM range ?

I don't use PAYPAL, although if you don't mind the waiting part I could mail you either a money order or a personal cheque.

Thank you.

What I noticed about the intake when I was actively using it:

- you hear the induction sound as you rev up | my legacy power band ended at 5500 so I did not go past that but I did like the sound
- I noticed in a delay of throttle response when starting from a stop... I just learned to tap the gas before I knew I would be going
- the sales guy gave the ole extra 10-15 HP jingle with me when I bought it though if there was such an increase I did not notice. Perhaps if you have a access port with a map you might notice something ... though if you ask me if you want the full benefits you better look at a full exhaust system change ... for me I just enjoyed to growl =)

... a money order will be fine but understand I will hold off shipping until it clears... total amount due would be $68

PM me if you are interested
