Looks normal? Don't see any pooling of oil. The oil pan could be the source of the leak, our Buick Regal loses a qt of oil every 2 weeks from the oil pan leaking. I would clean the engine bay out thoroughly and check for oil residue a week later. The engine bay in the picture looks like it hasn't been cleaned since 2004 when it was put in.

Gravity keeps it from pooling on a vertical surface.

Checking on the computer instead of nasioc app, To the right of the circled area looks like fresh oil or liquid.

I got him down to 450...and I heard that you didn't need a tune with the perrin, but would be installing it with the group on Saturday so I will get it all cleared up then

It looks like it's some type of cover on top of the head. There was some oil/dirt buildup on the passenger side too but the majority was on the driver's side. Thoughts/suggestions?

That is a valve cover breather, and it probably isn't a major source for an oil leak, unless the gasket is bad and something is messed up with the PCV system on the car.

My suggestion would be to get some degreaser and clean the area off around the breather, and see if anything else comes out of that area. If it's still leaking, change the gasket there. Also, check to make sure his PCV isn't clogged.

They don't, it'll be my daily now. Getting the slicks off soon and throwing some winter rubber on once you confirm what I asked you before.

Noah, back onto the leaking oil topic. If he is losing oil due to clogged PCV, a catch can (if installed) would prevent oil from making it to the intake, correct? A tell tale sign would be the ominous white smoke. Right?

White smoke isn't burnt oil.
