Do you know if it was circulating coolant? Failed fans would only affect temps while parked or in neutral.

I'm interested how you posted or a new car quote with my name...pretty interesting, but I have no interest in buying a new car. I may buy the new Sti's whenever the body style change.

Lol. I'm sure it not something major I have special liberty till monday, so this gives me yet another excuse to take my car apart since I have the time. I'm also waiting on my front member power brace (I know it's all visual) which should be here this week. I will try to track down the issue today and hopefully get it all resolved before this week is out.

Maybe you have an air bubble in the system? Also, do you have your old thermostat still? Try boiling some water and placing the thermostat in there and see if it opens up. It should open around 180. How does your oil look? Milky? Do you smell coolant while the car is running?

Air bubbles were the reason why my car was overheating, I'm going to drive drive it all day to find out if the car is good to go or not.
