Default 60/40 rear seats for 99RS

I'm thinking of replacing the seats with 60/40.
I remember someone sold a silver rs with 60/40 rear seats a while ago, but couldnt find the post again.
Does anyone know how much it would cost in total, like getting the seats, washing (maybe refurbish?), installing, etc.

if i recall correctly, you want early Legacy back seats... If you get them, bring them to the Friday night Timmys meet and an army of guys will help you install. Its a breeze, only 5x14mm bolts =)

We fitted the new style wagon split seats in the back of a 99RS coup before. physically it will fit but the car is missing the side brackets.

You should pm zeffy as he has my old wagon seats.

It was a fun mod on my old 99RS coupe, also very useful. The 93 legacy black rear 60/40 top fits perfectly, so you won’t need to bottom part. I took it to an upholstery shop and had the RS pattern sewed onto the legacy top (approx $150 dollars). It was a perfect fitting. However, you will need some cloth to cover the rear of the folding seats. You will understand when you get to that part. If you have any questions, let me know.

thanks for the info guys
im still looking around for a car, if i could i will definitely get a GC.
but since i will need it to carry snowboards and stuff,
i would prefer folding seats rather than a rack.
So I'm still in the stage of finding the right car that i like and under my budget,
including stuff like the 60/40 seats.

Or you could get GD STi rear seats that has the center opening - I find that should be good enough, although I still haven't poked a hole through the back

I actually have GD wrx TR rear seats that you could probably have.. they have the opening in the middle. Though im not sure snowboards will fit through it

I think the opening would fit a snowboard. I have 02/03 wrx sedan rear seats.

most importantly for the person fitting the seats into the gc, you will need the striker bar from the person you are buying the seats from.
