Default In need of a stock STi Boost Solenoid

Looking to borrow or just buy a working solenoid - I think they are the same on wrx and sti but I will check it out..

I think mine is sticking or dead all together.... maxing out at 7 PSI all of a sudden today can't think of any other reason.. anyone have other ideas?

Thx

I had a look at the lines but not a close one, might order some new ones but its really consistent and holds dead on the same psi every time, if it was a boost leak wouldn't it be a little more random?

ok good to know I will have to have a closer look then before getting into the solenoid. I drove a bit more and found that under more load like a hill I can actually get more boost, and I have had this happen once before although that time it resolved it self. I will do some good looking then maybe try to swap out the solenoid after to see if that makes any difference.
Thx

Re setting the ECU you mean? mine is still stock so there won't be any re-flashing going on...

I am thinking possibly pre turbo boost leak, I did a boost leak test but I don't think I did a good job so I might do it again. we'll see
