Default Grrr!!! Car got hit. Anyone used Craftsman Collision?

Some numbnut in a Civic hit my car. He's at fault. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with Craftsman Collision? Any other to recommend in the Tri-Cities or Ridge Meadows area?

The answer from the previous post pretty much said, stay far away from Craftsmans Collisions; unless you own a numbnut civic -- lawl.

Reviews Matching for Craftsman Collision

4/27/2010 Never Never, bring your vehicle to Craftsman Collision. Just fix the outside look, they never do other mechanical inspection, or other part of the inspection.. ... they only did outside looking.. if the outside looking is ok, and the vehicle can drive out of the shop.. they did their job.

it is really stupid for me to bring my vehicle to there.

11/28/2009 This location is a big joke and I highly advise everyone not to bring your car to this Craftman collision at all cost! When I picked up my car from this Craftman collision on Imperial Ave I saw my car had thousands of paint drops on the rear trunk and bumpers and it's not the end of the story, yet. Then, I opened the trunk and it was all wet. I spoke to the manager and I asked him about the poor paint job and he told me that your car isn't a show car so it should be okay and he said that it's not very noticable. It was like a pond inside the trunk so it looks they left it outside the rain before and after the collision repair.

A few days later, inside my trunk, it was still wet and it looks like they didn't fix my trunk properly and I called the manager and the manager told me that I have to pay more money to fix it. They said that they don't have the time to fix small matters like what I'm experiencing. I told him that it's a MAJOR problem because there's a major leak somewhere in the trunk of my car. The manager of Craftman collision told me that I should tell ICBC to send another 500 dollars or pay it with my own money. I should let you know that ICBC refuse to add more money for the repair bill and they told me that Craftman Collision should do the investigation of the poor repair.

The problem was never fixed. The trunk still leaked. I sold the car and with bad paint job which Craftman Collision refused to fix.

There are so many better places to fix your car than at Craftman Collision and the Imperial location has to be the worst location.

If you hate your car, by all means bring it to them, otherwise, stay away from craftsmen, boyd, kirmac or any of those big ones. They are nothing but butchers. Keep to smaller shops as they can afford to spend extra time to make sure your car is repaired properly. I can't think of any around tricities at the moment, but if you want to venture out to langley, the one I recommend would be Sunshine Autobody.

They did a terrible job on my Speed 6, and took 9 weeks to do it. that's why I'm looking for a different shop now to do some paint only work on my STI.

PM Loomin, Cosmos Auto Care at Clark/Adanac

a little far from your area, but worth it.

Which one? Are you referring to Craftsman or First Class Auto Body??

It's weird I punched in Craftsman Collision in BBB and they show up with A+ rating.

+1 for loomin.
He's a good dude, and won't let you down.
Plus he is one of the few bodymen who can ride his bike both on and off a transport container.

Even if you drive a civic, don't bother with Craftsman.
They did a horrible job on my old civic. I was out of town when they did the repairs, and had my friend pick the car up. It wasn't until I returned 6 months later that I saw how horrible the job was.

I tried a different location for a windshield repair on my WRX wagon, and the damn thing leaked. It was a fight to get them to replace it again. I had to threaten to contact ICBC for them to budge.

**** those guys.
Srsly.

I was referring to Craftsman, They suck. Especially the one on Lougheed in Coquitlam. I had a third party inspection done on the car after repairs, thickness measurements were all different, drips in the clear coat, and lots of Orange peel. I went there originally thinking that a big company like theirs should do a good job, lots of experience, maybe some good Quality Control. I was mistaken.

I'd consider Cosmo aka loomin. However location is just way out there...
So Craftsman is off the list!..

Anyone gone for medical check up just to have record for future body pain issues?

Do you have any pain or issues caused by the accident?
If so, then definately see your doctor. Worse case, he can send you to physio, paid for by insurance. That's something to consider after a wreck. You don't know how you twisted during impact.

When I hit the little creek gap (which is actually about a 6-8' gap), and saw him hit the really big creek gap that I refuse to hit, I knew he wasn't the same loomin. That boy has definately come a long way.
