Default HELP 08 trans? problem

I own a 2008 2.5i (auto), I bought it last year with 37,900 miles on it, car had a tiny bit of stuttering when accelerating and letting of the accelerator when I bought it. Had the trans flushed and it seemed to help the problem a little bit, im now at 46,000 miles. Just had my rotors replaced and oil changed (brake pads changed at 44,000) other history: the entire front right wheel and whole assembly were replaced when my roommate crashed my car this last winter at 43,xxx Miles. Car has been OK since then, until today when I had my windows tinted.

When driving it on the way home (all in drive) it seemed to slam into and out of gears much more than usual, shifting gears at low rpms makes it worse, and braking faster makes downshifting slam harder. I also noticed a new exhaust rattle, im used to a few since I just added a catback exhaust about 1,000 miles ago but this new one is raspy and awfully annoying. The worst problem now is that when the car is in fourth gear and I let off of the accelerator, instead of shifting into neutral and coasting and the rpms dropping to 1.5k they stay right where it was at when you let off say 2k and continue to stay in gear and engine brake until it shifts into third at certain speed and is able to shift into neutral again. I had the oil changed yesterday at 46,212 drove it probably ten miles that day and then another twenty miles to the shop that tinted my car. when i got the car the odo was at 46,255. So does anyone know what is wrong with my car? do you think they abused it somehow? Can i get this fixed?

I would more than bet that the tint crew took your car for a lunch time spin...Think about it...All is good when it gets dropped off. When you pick it up, it's ****ed. 1st gear slams at 60mph and what not. That's why I never leave my car with anybody.

Ok so apparently there is a 6 year drivetrain warranty? I plan on taking it to the dealer, will they do anything? and will it be a problem with the non stock catback exhuast? I plan on replacing the heatshield I took off, but im still just not 100% sure

My rule of thumb is if you can take off the part without much hassle just do it.

Another reason why you should always hold onto you stock parts. I would not worry about it though, the two are not connected. Just put the shield back on since that would make me worried.
