My Bugeye is giving me headaches..AHH!!!

A lil bit of history.

I bought the car back in January, it was fine. Then around April/May I got a CEL about my TGV valves and sensors not working. Got that all sorted out and fixed at Richmond Subaru which costed me a **** load of $$$

Now today while driving home, my CEL just came on again.

ahhhh...anybody here have a OBD reader that I can borrow. I wanna see what this CEL code is and if its related to the first CEL I had about my TGV.

If it is so, then perhaps I can use this as a reason for them to fix it for free as they guarantee their parts and service.

Any other owners having many pblms with CELs..

I drive a 03 WRX btw...

Usually Miss fire codes which is pretty common.

is it modded? my bugeye used to give me all kinds of CEL's. a lot of misfire codes even on a stock tune.

well i resetted my ECU by pulling out the negative terminal on my battery..

the light went off.. then took it for a drive last night, it didn't come on again....yet

hey, I also drive an 03 WRX and also had a problem with the CEL. it came on today, took it to the shop, and first it read that my #1 and #3 pistons were missfiring, then it said, all my pistons were missfiring, but that doesn't make a whole lot of since considering the car was still running.

the car will still run even if its misfiring....makes complete sense

mine used to misfire #4.. maybe 4 times iirc.. so ran perfectly fine.. just had to pull the code and clear it.. =)
