Default apexi panel filter for 08-10 impreza 2.5i

I was looking for a panel filter that will replace OEM one....
not for hp gain but for cost efficiency ( figured it would be cheaper to spend about $50 and maintain it myself rather than spending $18 at dealership everytime )

I already did search possible threads on this and there is nothing.
many people are saying K&N one is letting too much dirt/dust pass by.
So I found a Apexi panel filter (503-F101) but they say it's for 08 -10 WRX/Sti.
I thought it would be the same size with 2.5i but not so sure.

Has anyone bought this filter and tried?
Thanks

Yes, that filter would fit your car. The 2.5i/wrx/sti all use the same size air filter.

I also went with the AVO drop in. I just wish it came with stickers like the K&N does. I like stickers

maybe the difference between the apexi vs avo is maintenance

that is maybe not too much info

I myself will add to the vote of the AVO drop in fitler, I have one MY05 Wrx, fits like stock and big plus from the k&n was that the AVO is oil less, so no need for the re charge kit, so no extra cost and very easy to maintain....

+1 AVO drop in filter
