Default what do you want to see on RMIC?

The title says it, catchy rhyme and all. It seems kinda slow around this forum lately. I know there are a lot of cool peeps on here, a lot of fun stuff to do and a lot of good ideas.
So once more, what would you like to see on rmic?

I will start, I want to see more and better meets with good turn out, good location, more than sitting in a parking lot. Some drives or events ect. Lets make being part of the rmic and any other auto entusiast forum fun. Not a taco tuesday thread that never gets updated.

get involved and let the ideas roll!

heres the thing about drives. back in the day (2003) there were 7 people who went on a drive. it was fun as hell and incident free.

fast forward to 2006. drives were increased to 30+ cars. people were stupid, cops were called and drives were called off.

fast forward again to 2008-2009. gas prices are crippling and drives are reduced to about 6-10 cars. cops are still called, for no reason, but called none the less.

around this time some one decided we were all a bunch of meanies. the most vocal of them moved on to slcsubaru and a feud ensued. after the feud was patched up for the most part our most fearless leader and most vocal member moved out of the state and became less active.

the core of the local community has moved on. there are alot of new people and not everyone posts on the boards. many of the people who were, including me, here at the beginning dont even have subarus anymore and have therefore become inactive. in fact the only person besides me who was there at the beginning who is still somewhat active is kirill

id like to see the rmic go back to its former glory but have resigned myself to know that because of things out of my control most activites beyond hanging out and hard parking are simply too time consuming and dangerous.

I got an idea, we should meet every tuesday and thursday, and saturday.

we will call it taco tuesday (tater tot tuesday), thursty thursday (adult beverages) and cars and coffee. what more can we do? That's the first thing my waife asks when we get home from work. "Car things tonight?"

You can do a drive befroe, or after any one of these things. I have met up with guys in the north to drive down to CnC before.

i tried combining taco tuesday and tater tot tuesday but got accused of thread jacking, all my posts edited, and ****. nasioc doesn't like anything but nasioc. i don't get it.

medamullet said he'd never come, then accidentally came to one. now he comes occasionally and is even promoting it. its not a big deal. we all like cars, why can't we meet at the same place?

most of the nasioc guys belong to both forums anyway. It's the same people showing up to TTT as were going to TT.

Except those of us who got booted because we didn't meet their login/post quota. No loss though, since SLCSubaru has the absolute worst color scheme possible for readability.

It cracks me up that Greg and his ilk are still butthurt about getting told not to post up alternate locations for meets at the same time and same night as TT. Get over it.

As for the OP, you'll be much happier when you realize Subarus are the new Civic and most of the educated, involved Subaru crowd has moved on.
