Default Gauges 95% Complete, What you think?

I decided to change my 06 2.5i cluster to blue and was curious to know what you guys think. Im no perfectionist like others and decided to use [7] 74 high power smd leds with 360 degree light output without scraping the green film. Im quite pleased with the results, with very minimal hotspotting as well as a nice color blue, the only bad thing is the needles are quite dark in which i expected after reading the 28 page thread on gauge clusters lol.

Don't mind the section that is greenish i was 1 short on leds(coming monday), and dont mind the quality of the pic (cellphone camera)

Here it is.

Any new ways to maybe light up the needles by the way?

If i were to scrape the green film with the light output be even more intense and possibly light up needles?

Nice! I'd light up everything above 100mph in red though.... that's the ludicrous speed zone!

I sense a spaceballs-influenced phrase?

Although blue is a good looking gauge color, it will tire your eyes. I believe the eye responds the best to orange and redish hues....

All in all it's looking good though.

this looks quite good. I must admit, I have been wanting to do this for months, did the center console, but am just down right nervous about taking the gauge cluster appart due to the price tag if I mess up!
I keep wondering if theres a way to give the non-STIs an STI style shift light.
I know what you mean by it not being soo bright irl though. When I tried to take pictures of the work I did, the pictures never come out nearly like what it truely looks like :P

Gauge cluster is incredibly easy if your not scraping the green film off...

P.s I finished my whole interior and quite pleased with the result I'll have to upload some pics
