Default EJ257 Darton dry sleeve engine break-in procedure

My new Shortblock should be coming in the mail in the next 4 weeks from AMS. I was just wondering... is there any special break-in procedure for a sleeved ej257? Or is it the same break-in as a stock sleeve subaru motor?

Might be a dumb question, but I couldn't find any threads about this at all on nasioc.

Thanks,
-Ben

Ask AMS there building the motor for you, follow there break in instructions. It goes early most likely they will be shipping you a new one.

All AMS shortblocks come with pretty much the same sheet from what people are telling me.

I've been talking to them all week, kind of annoying them at this point. Just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with breaking in a block like this.

Always go with what the builder says, they are the ones who will replace it or not if something goes wrong. If you follow there instructions you will be golden.
