Default FS: MA: 1997 Ford Ranger XLT w/ 87xxx miles - $1350 OBO

Up for sale I have a 1997 Ford Ranger XLT.
$2000 OBO
PRICE DROP $1750 OBO
PRICE DROP $1500
PRICE DROP $1350 OBO

-4 Cyl. 2WD
-5 Speed MT
-Purple Paint w/ gray cloth interior
-CD/AM/FM

NEW/REPLACED within 2 years:
Tires with less than 5k on them + Full Size Spare
Rear Leaf Springs and Assemblies
Front Ball Joints
Brakes + Brake Lines Replaced 2 years ago
Muffler Replaced 2 years ago
Bed Refinished with Black Rustoleum Bed Liner last week
Runs and drives without any hesitations or issues whatsoever

BAD:
Clutch is on the way out
Small hole in exhaust before muffler (I have replacement piece and gasket just needs to be welded in)
Has been in 1 VERY MINOR accident. Someone backed up into the rear passenger corner of the bed. Its very minor but worth noting. You can see it in the picture, right above the FORD logo on the tailgate.
Paint isnít in the best condition, but a good buff would bring it back to life.
And if you're self conscious...well...itís Purple.
Also the interior dome light has been disabled (fuse removed) as the truck thinks a door is always open

Price is O.B.O. Money talks. Truck is located in Dracut, right next to Lowell

Thanks.

Dan.

Not sure. I think its standard size. ill measure it when I get home

as for mileage I reset the counter last fill up those 113 miles only dropped the needle to 2/3 full.

This was my dads truck for the last 13 years he moved to California last week and left me to sell It so I don't know everything about it but I have been driving it around to learn more information

The bed is 6 feet long and 4+1/2 feet wide 54"x72".

And as it's a manual with no AC its rated at about 25 MPG (23 city 27 highway) give or take

do you know if the clutch is adjustable or no?

If you can adjust it then this one isnt too bad cause it doenst slip or anything but it engages about an inch away from the top

there is no adjustment on the clutch. there is a good chance that if you spray (and alot of it....it will run out of the drain hole in the door when there is enough) a good penetrating oil on the drivers door latch and open & close the door a bunch of times the sticking door ajar switch will unstick itself. this is a common problem with fords....

bump for a great truck. change the oil in this thing every 3000 miles and keep the other maint in good shape it will run forever. the 2.3 5 speed combo is a very reliable powertrain. All the bad stuff has been fixed. brake lines, leaf springs and hangers, ball joints, tires, and exhaust are all i ever see these truck in service for.
