You'll lose power. Actually I'm not entirely sure. Chances are you will lose some power though.

Look at two specific things. The intake manifold and exhaust manifold are tools for controling the torque band of the engine, along with the cams and heads. It's all about air flow and optimizing that flow. The two things you look at are the intake manifold runner diameter and the intake manifold runner length. The diameter defines where the optimum scavenging occurs and subsequently maximum torque. The length has to do with pressure wave tuning, sort of like a musical instrument. The length is tuned to a specific frequency and helps optimize power around wherever that length correlates to engine rpm. Realize that the flow should be optimized the same way through the whole engine. This means the intake manifold design matches cam setup, head porting, and exhaust manifold. It's just not the intake manifold alone. You still need to address the rest of the car. You also need to understand if the STI intake manifold is even suitable for the NA engine in the first place. The design may work great on a turbo motor, but you may find that the design is completely inappropriate for any near stock NA engine.

The STi and your 2.5i are both cast aluminum manifolds. This must be a asthetic oriented question so my answer would be take yours off and paint it red
