They gave me the truck on Saturday and thought we had all the financing straightened out but today it all went to crap. They wanted too much over book for the truck and they wouldn't go any lower and no credit union would even come close to what they wanted. They had it like 5,000 over book and then low balled me on the car so I'm keeping the STi and once the Durango takes a dump we will buy a truck or the new Jeep Cherokee.

I need a family vehicle reason why I was trying to unload the STi not get another power house. Well I guess I can go back to ordering my wheels and tires for it. Then maybe some other goodies since it's going to be in the family for awhile.

it may not have been 5,000 that was a little over exaggeration on my part, but I didn't know this until I talked to my credit union today, but they were asking 33,000 which apparently the truck is only worth 31,000 for excellent condition and then wanted to take the negative equity from the car and add it to the truck and then come down on it but it was just a complete mess. Basically everything worked out for the best I think in the end.

That SRT8 Jeep **** is ghey. Defeats the purpose of buying a Jeep.

I love the SRT8 jeep. I would rock one as the "family" SUV.

What kind of truck are you looking for? My stepdad works for LHM Toyota and can find pretty much anything you're looking for. Let me know.

the thing is I owe 18,735 on the car and I would have to sell it out right to break even, (the funny thing is that is where Ken Garff came up with their selling price on my car, if I would have gone through with trading it in) but anyway I don't want to start upside down on a truck so I think I'm just going to keep it and enjoy it. I would have to find something less than 30,000 out the door, because everything is in my name including the house so my debt to income ratio is great but anything over 30,000 would not look good on paper for lender's. I would like to find a 2005 or newer Dodge or Chevy diesel truck, true four door, spray-in bed liner, lifted, miles with-in reason to the year, but this is only if I can get into it without being upside-down from the start.

the salesman just called me and left a voicemail that they found a truck that will work and that he was going to submit the paperwork since they know what I was approved for and he will make it work http://www.kengarffhondariverdale.co...1334c2e5d9.htm

your right but that's a trade-in two different things. They gave me 15,500 but tried to take the negative down with taking more off the truck but they wouldn't budge. They have my car that is in my garage for sale on their site for 18,735 the vin numbers match. Because they thought when I took the truck home and left my car there that it was a sealed deal but it wasn't they don't even have the dodge on there that I was looking at for the same reason.

Well the STi is gone for good now, I got the truck that made me stop at the dealership in the first place and they gave me a pretty good deal on it and basically allowed me to break even on the STi. And I'm back to my Chevrolet roots, so glad the Dodge didn't work out. For one this truck is not as high but it rides really really smooth for being lifted and it has a bigger bed than the dodge. And gets twice as much mpg than the Dodge. Pics will be coming soon.

no it's a 4.7 Chevrolet 1500 and gets 18 mpg. The Dodge that I had for a little bit got 9 mpg even with the mds system which drops 4 cylinders after 21mph and staying at a constant speed.
