Default Borrow an AP for 30 minutes :)

AP-SUB-002 (2007 wrx)

If you have one you would be willing to un marry from your car for all of 30 minutes while we use it to unlock a married ecu (previous owner lost the ap...) on my buddies car, then simply un-marry the ap from his car and give it back to you un-damaged and unchanged (you won't lose any maps). We can come to you and we wont' even leave your driveway with the ap .

food/soda/beer and or what ever other compensation you'd like can be arranged .

Thanks!

It will and does work, or so several people have reported on 32 bit ecu's. And worst case scenario if it doesn't work is the ecu gets sent off to tactrix .

you can also take the ecu to cobb and they can flash it/ unlock it on the bench. (assuming they still do it)

SLC still has the ability to do so but I'll have to get the tool from one of our engineers. If you're serious let me know then I'll get it by Tuesday.

And for the record, taking another unmarried APv2 WILL overwrite the previous flash and by uninstalling it will remove the license and replace with replica factory ROM.

Cheers

Depends on the state of the ECU and what happened.

The 02/03 WRX ECU's are pretty much indestructible; 04/05 WRX is about 75% chance depending what flash state it is. Any 2.5+ vehicle can be recovered regardless of condition, unless there's been physical harm done.
