Default tail light cleaning

The inside of tailight is dirty. im hoping someone else had to open it up once before to clean it out.

i cannot use an oven on the tailight because it will melt it. Its different then a headlight. if anyone has advice to getting a film out of a tailight let me know.

Correct. is it just dirt? have you tried taking one of the bulbs out, hooking up a shop vac to the back, sealing it and trying to suck the dirt out? If its completely full of dirt you can cut it open but once you do, and you wipe it out, there is always going to be particles (fiber from your cleaning cloth) left on the lens.

First, they won't melt in the oven, but it will do no good to bake them as they are not held together with windshield caulk.
Next, how did the inside of your tails get dirty? It seems very unlikely. Are you sure it is not just condensation. In which case you could remove the bulbs, take the taillights out of the car and let them sit in the sun for a few hours while the moisture evaporates.

i have it out of the car and looking inside it looks like just rain water went in and dried about 5times. now its built up. its not much its like 1inch width by 4inches long. it is all dried up. i tried to shake it hard with water in there but it wont break up. so i think unless i have some brush that bends around and doesnt scratch i have to dremmel and then put it back

read the writeup for the 06/07 tail DIY. Splitting them is the exact same. Use a good sealant! Use a microfiber cloth to keep particles down
