RCE Grocery Getter (PGG)!

Default NJ: 2002 WRX 5MT, R160, axles and more!

All items located in Central New Jersey.

All parts have 85,000 miles on them (never raced, most all highway miles). Fluids were changed every 20k with Motul Gear 300. The parts are from a 2002 WRX Wagon.

The transmission is SOLD.
The Axles are SOLD.
The rear diff is SOLD.
The Dirveshaft is SOLD.

All four axles are in good condition. No rips or tears in the boots, no clicking or rough spots when rotated through the range of motion. These are wagon length axles, so they are too short for a GD sedan. Perfect for the GC/GM/GF/GG crowd though!

Can deliver to NJ, East/NE PA, DE. Also willing to meet up here if buyer prefers. The list below gives prices for each part:

-2002 WRX 5mt TY754VN2BA SOLD
-2002 WRX R160 (3.54 FD): SOLD
-2007 5MT Driveshaft (less than 10,000 miles): SOLD
-2002 WRX (wagon length) axles (Front and Rear): SOLD
-Kartboy Short shifter (02+ MY): SOLD
-2002 GD Shift Linkage w/Kartboy front shift bushings: $50 (inc. shipping)

The rear diff you are selling, will it replace my stock 2002 WRX sedan rear diff? I am a bit dumb on the ratios for the rear end. I think I have one of the 02's that had an open diff. I thought it was a 3.90 but I really have no idea. Is the one your selling an LSD? Thanks for any info.

Is your sedan an Automatic or Manual?

If it is automatic, No. You need a 4.11 FD R160.

If it is a manual, then Yes, it will be a bolt in replacement. The final drive for the 02-05 wrx were different as the Front differential was 3.90, the Rear differential was 3.54 and the center differential was a 1.1:1 reduction to match the speeds up.

This does have a Viscous LSD unit inside, as indicated by the star on the rear cover and I can verify that it still worked when it was taken out of the car.

You can see pictures of the diff by following the link on the first post.

Please note that the axles will not work on a WRX sedan as the track width is wider than the wagon. The axles are shorter for the wagons.

The axles are Wagon length, so they will not fit a sedan due to the track differences.
