Post Where to get corner balanced in San Diego?

K&S Tire has closed it's doors, anybody know of any other places to have this done? I need mounting, balancing, and alignment too, a one stop shop (which K&S used to be) would be great.

I seriously doubt Pan Auto could or would do something like this. When I last visited them, they were the premier source for rice in San Diego. The had tons of rims, stickers, pedal covers, shift knobs, PIAA superwhites, etcetera, but nothing in the way of actual performance pieces.

Tom,

My roommate and I were thinking about doing that also, except he told me that it was only $1000 for corner scales. In any case, he knows a lot of guys in San Diego that autocross on the Miata list and could probably round up some people who would pay for this service.

I'm going to check with Lutz Tire right now. That's who the owner of K&S went to work for, so maybe they do it now...

Well I talked to the guy who used to be the manager at K&S and he said to that the only place that might do it is Dave Turner Motorsports. But, Kartboy, you go there all the time, right? So you'd know if they had corner scales...

Oh well... maybe it's time to start selling shifters door to door, so Kartboy can get some corner scales.
