Great location, and a amazing facility. They ran here for 2 years, and never came back. Rumor has it many teams where not happy with the power loss do to altitude, so the showing was quite small the 2nd year and they never came back ...same thing with ALMS, Daytona and a couple other series.

And putting a face to a name is always nice.

Hey Kirill,

Yeah it be nice to meet you and Alex...We would go to any track low or high on altitude....racing is racing. I would love to run at Miller...looks awesome indeed.

Willow springs looks freeekin sweet too...we haven't raced there yet but will definitely be looking forward to race there. So we are excited. For now we are setting up the car for some ice racing and than back to grip for the season opener of redline.

Hope to see you guys there!!!

Did you guys peel off the silver trim atthe bottom of the windows on the driver and passenger sides? Did you have to mount anything in place of it or it comes off clean?

We left it on the car, it just did not show up in the images.
If that trim was removed a new one would need to be re-installed from the looks of it. We thought about doing it, but putting black vinyl over it would seem to be easier, cheaper, and look just as good.

You gotta love working on a brand new car Everything is clean and easy to do! It took me 2 hours until I started on my 2011 wrx hatch. I installed the Invidia race, catless dp and Cobb AP. Man it's awesome

You speak the truth!
Working on brand new cars is very nice. All the hardware, bolts, come off very easy. No rust to worry about, or dirt to fall in the eyes.

sound clips of the exhaust? Looks good... Is the muffler a straight through design on the proto?

We have a video that we are working on right now, however for some reason it did not turn out all that good as it was a bit of a windy day. Will try to get it posted up sometime today.

As for the angle of the exhaust, the mufflers are parallel with the chassis.

Keep in mind.
1) Windy outside so we had to filter that out.
2) When filtering the wind, it made the exhaust sound a little different
3) This is a prototype!

Yes it will be. After Cobb makes a couple small changes, the system will go into production.

They do not, there is a significant length difference. Just like the OEM exhaust, they sit WAY to far into the bumper. So as soon as you start running the car hard, get ready for the bumper to turn black.

That is all that we are aware of, however Cobb might make some other changes we are not aware of.

really loving what you have done to this STI so far and can't wait to see what else you guys will do. You have given me inspiration for my 2011 STI Sedan lol, will be checking out your site in the not to distant future for parts. Also how is the Cobb exhaust holding up looks good and sounds awesome but the tips look a bit flimsy and is probably the one thing i would tell them to change on it.

All the Best

Devo
