Default Tsudo N1 Catback for 98-05RS on a 06-07 Impreza?

Would a TSUDO N1 Catback Exhaust for 98-05 Impreza RS 2.5L will fit for a 06-07 Impreza? Possible? (I know the headers and cat pipe are different but how much?)

I am asking this question as I do not want anything bigger than 2.5 inch piping, something that is cheap and has a silencer for local authorities.

(A magnaflow street series muffler $150 and cut/weld $100 would be around the same price, but piping would not be changed. And, Stomung is a little expensive for my taste. $410-560)

PS: I tried searching but no luck.

I cant remember why it wont fit. I believe it is just the headers and cats, possibly other stuff idk. But I do have this cat back on my 2010 OBS and I can say if you want quiet this is not the exhaust to get. I can be heard coming pretty far down the road if Im on it

edit: with the silencer in it sounds horrendous...like a weed wacker

The rs exhaust will have to have a flange rotated and extended a bit i think.

For my exhaust all I have is borla headers, hollowed out rs cat pipe(started to clog and no $$$ for new cat), custom catback to 12245 magnaflow.

Not sure how that would sound on EL headers. Price on muffler from magnaflow is $142. Exhaust shop got it for $65. Cheapest on ebay was $80. Couldn't pass it up.

I was planning to get a Magnaflow single tip but around my area they tend to be around $200. Other web sites are $151. But having someone to weld it on is challenging as everyone wants about $100 for the labor. So adding all that together is around $250, which I can buy the TSUDO for that price.

I was planning to get a silencer with a bigger hole in it so it would allow a little more flow going out & less raspy"ness". Sure it will be a little louder but not enough to pull me over.

Do you have any cabin videos with the silencer on? Is it that bad...

I am thinking that it needs to be rotated and extended 2-3inchs. Like those 02-05RS Cat-backs to fit on an 06-07 2.5i?
