I recently took the momo wheel out of my 04 sti.I bought a clock spring and complete wheel from another o4 sti.Reason being i wanted to get the air bag light off and get cruise back.So i got the wheel ,clock spring and air bag .Put it all in,cruise doesn't work, airbag light still on.Disconnected battery for 30 minutes, unplugged every sensor plug in to seat, dash airbag, etc.Hooked battery back up air bag light still on.So i checked all the fuses to it all good.Does the computer need to be reset or flashed or something?
So i gave up on that went to try cruise,Hit the button nothing cruise don't light up dont do anything. So now i really wondering wtf.So i came here to see what the experts say. one last thing is i have no horn what so ever.Is it possible the clock spring is messing this whole deal up? Or is it something else i am missing in the wheel? The car was never in accident at least not that was reported if was.The air bag light was on when i bpought it and the momo wheel was on it.It didn't have a clock spring on it.And i did have the cruise light come on one time when i revved the piss out of it.It set check engine light and cruise light both on.I erased them and it's been fine since. So now i am trying to put it back to driver friendly for long rides and stuff. thanks in advance guys

Was the clock spring you installed new or used? If used did you test it? It could be bad.
Get the wiring manual if you don't already have it, and start tracing the circuit to see where the problem is. |

Most likely a broken clock spring. Replacing with a working clock spring will get your horn back.
