Check the passenger side footwell for a second pair of green test connectors, and make sure they are also plugged in.

The connectors may be under the trim next to the door hinges.

Call Limitless. I think I remember several people having issues with their cables. Take a screenshot of the Ecuflash page after you try to connect and post it up here.

i had same issue it sounds like. if it is the same issue, i ended up having to hit ok, then wait like 3 seconds then turn the key. sometimes takes me 20 tries to connect. other times i do it this way and it connects right away... the 02-03 are a pain to connect to sometimes

if the fans start cycling and the CEL flashes when you are trying to flash it means that the ECU is not seeing the proper flash voltage and therefore does not go into the mode where it will allow a read/write of the map. Instead it is going into diagnostic mode. You could try to jump voltage to the appropriate pin perhaps??

You've got to be kidding me! I have the same issue. If this cures it I'm going to crap myself! Thanks ProdriveDreams! I'll try this as well.

When in flash mode i believe the brake light and alternator light come on, but your CEL and airbag do not they might come on for a split second but immediately go out and nothing is flashing. this is why sometimes hitting ok a few seconds before trying to flash works, because it tells the ECU to go into flash mode before it powers on.

I tried searching around but my lunch break is short and I couldn't find anything quickly. Try posting a seperate thread asking specifically that if you can't find it. Or try PMing 'Colby'/searching around at open ECU as he built a usb cable for subaru's
