Question What is this vacuum hose for?

It seems for the FPR? I went to change my coolant temp sensor and I went to remove the hose and it was so hard it just snapped..

where it goes to

Now where can I find a replacement one at? I was able to get enough on but the hose is cracking again and it hisses because of the vacuum.

That is the FPR. Any parts store will have replacement vacuum hose. Just bring them in a piece of what you need and tell them how long it needs to be and they'll help you. I know O'Reilly's sells it by the foot but since you're in CT, you'll have to rely on Advanced, Auto Zona, or Napa.

the rest of the hoses are going to be in the same shape, so be ready to do them all OR invest in some preventative maintenance.

the hoses that are not in direct touch on the hot engine are ok so far.. the rest should be easy to find and replace.
