Everything looks promising. I still really like the Ball Bearing 5857/6262 units for these engines because the price and availability is good, but I can't wait to see more results with this thing!

Geoff @ Full Race told me this turbo would be very comparable to my hta gt3076r. I hit 15psi @ 3400rpm. I want to see the boost turned up on this thing

What compression ratio, if you don't mind me asking? Sorry if it's already been mentioned.

Is this the same tester you used Last time that gave you low readings?

The important thing is they are even.

I think his is 8.17:1. Because we were going to run high boost on this turbo on pump then more with meth.
Add in bigger cams than stock and avcs in full retard with I'm guesting a closed throttle body...

AEM v1 has issues with our cam sensor and has been fixed on AEM v2 which I sold my Hydra 2.6 to get.

Does the plug in board have a knock sensor? I know the current boards are based on the V44 which don't have knock control unless you buy the separate unit.

V88 has it built in, just food for thought! That reminds me... they finally fixed the issue where it retarded timing even though I did not pass the knock threshold yet. Time to go back to Dom for a tune! Maybe play with closed loop boost control and closed loop idle?

Yes. the new boards are based off the 88.
Technically based off the link g4 extreme. The link is the actual unit and the vipec is just a rebranded link.

Closed loop what?

Things Link can do in closed loop:

boost control
knock control
fueling w/ wideband
cam control
throttle control
idle control
and maybe more

I still have delayed startup but it could be a setting I haven't figured out yet.
It idles my 1200cc well on pump though.

edit...
Nevermind my voltage is dropping below 10volts on crank for some reason..with jump pack it's starting up first crank.
Don't count the EMS 2 out is all I'm saying.

Thanks to Dom i had my car on dyno for couple of pulls. We found the boost tappers down 4 psi at red line, something i need to trouble shoot and fix before next session!
Good thing it pumps 16psi at 3500 rpm, we ran max 20 psi so no crazy numbers

Looks like i found the potential problem, efr internal bov was caped off with rubber cap and believe it was lifting under boost because it has tiny spring in it and no boost applied.

Just did a small test on the 40 mph speed zone in 3d, looks ok

The purpose of the dyno was just to make sure i have every thing correctly setup so we dont have to waist time on final session. I wont post it

Just ordered 30 psi spring for the Forge actuator!
That should hold 20 psi on spring pressure!

I'm confused. Does the EFR not come with it's own actuator?
