I'm looking forward to seeing the results.

What's the duration and lift of the new cams?

He's going to a smaller cam for more torque.

I don't think you will hit 500-540whp on low reading dyno with the 7060, you will need to run tons of timming and boost. Never the less this is a great setup, I can't wait to see what she puts down.

7670 is rated for 650hp. With proper modifications he should be able to max that turbo out and hit at least 500whp. 23% drivetrain loss on 650hp is 500whp.

He's running meth injection as well.

The head porting should help out a bit. Smaller cams but the flow of the heads back it up!

The idea was to get better airflow without sacrificing as much velocity as huge cams and getting full use of the AVCS to broaden the power band. With the 199-B cams and our valve reliefs, we can run as much advance as is mechanically possible, the 199-C is a little too aggressive for that.

The heads do flow quite well.

Those rules-of-thumb worked for Garrett turbos, but I don't think they will work so well with EFRs. With Garretts, the compressor flow capacity was basically synonymous with the point at which compressor efficiency dropped to 65%. So since the 3582 flows a little over 65 lb/min at 65%, people refer to it as a 65 lb/min or 650 chp turbo:

http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...-allcomp_e.gif

Borg-Warner, on the other hand...

http://www.turbodriven.com/performan...ages/76s75.jpg

They've got 64 ft/lb highlighted for some reason... but at 65% efficiency it flows around 61 ft/lb, and to reach 61 ft/lb you have a run a 4.0:1 pressure ratio, or 40+ psi. I expect to see people running more like 2.5:1 where it flows about 50 lb/min at 65% efficiency. So, 400whp, making it an alternative to the GT3076, not the GT3582. On pump gas, anyway.

The big question in my mind is whether it reaches that 2.5:1 pressure ratio any sooner than the GT3076 does.

if 7670 wont be good enough, I'm sure i can sell it in 5 seconds of posting on here, and get the next sized turbo which will be plug and play.
